I've heard there are less problems than 125%. With that said, you might try 150% for a quick test of the color picker. If they are smaller, your 100% will be smaller also. Then when looking for a new monitor, make sure the pixel size is very similar. When you find a monitor who's size works for you, find out the size of the pixels. As that screen shot I posted shows, 2560x1440 is the perfect size for me to display everything at 100% resoution. Screen scaling works basically like buying a lesser resolution monitor of the same size, EXCEPT you get to pay for the higher price monitor. That was early days, but was necessary to avoid Y2K problems. The fix was I had to increase the available size of all the date fields in the application. Finally after some time I realized it was the scaling. And the database would add *** to a field that was in that position. In my own application I had some people insist they could not change a date field.

Using scaling is actually never good as far as software is concerned. I can work around this for now, but I would really like to utilize both my monitors with PP.ĭoes anyone have any suggestions for fixing this problem? So the error seems to be related to my using a dual monitor arrangement. Save themes to your libraries to automatically sync them with your apps. You can find other color creation tools to extract harmonized themes and gradients from images or check themes for visual accessibility. So I returned to a single monitor arrangement (Window -> Workspaces -> Editing) which placed all the PP window panes back onto my main monitor and the error disappeared. Create using color harmony rules by visiting Adobe Color on the web. However, when I moved a few window panes (Project, Effects, Source, and Effect Controls) onto my other monitor (a dual monitor setup) then the error reappeared. I reset the Preferences and Plug-in Cache (hold down Shift-Alt while opening PP app) and this seemed to fix the problem. This behavior with the color picker was found in multiple effects: Lumetri Color, Ultra Key, Red Giant Colorista IV, and Red Giant Cosmo II. I determined that the color picker's selection was off by about 200 x 200 pixels in the Northwest direction. Then I used the color picker to select colors. To troubleshoot the problem I placed a SMPTE color chart in my timeline and increased its scale to fill the frame. When I use the color picker it selects the wrong color.
